Kia Ora welcome back to my blog last week we had our speeches it was not so good for me because I was really shy and these were the topics 1.culture and me 2.my cultural discovery 3.I'm unique let me tell you why. My speech topic was my culture and me we had to do three things mine were Hangi, Matariki and kapa haka .I had my speech on Wednesday the speeches had to be at least 3 minutes and 30 seconds long mine was only 2 minutes and 45 seconds long at first I hated speeches and I still do and lucky its all over i will never ever like speeches EVER!!!! Ive hated it since I was in the middles .The people who were into the semi finals were Emily, Arzoo, Brenna and Katie i never even wanted to go in through the semi finals but Mrs.Demchy though long and hard about who she wanted to put through and it came to after lunch the day she announced the semi finalist here is a photo of my speech thanks visit my blog some more!

Speech

Hello welcome back to my blog now last week we had to present our speeches! I did a really good job on presenting my speech. My speech was on Easter island and I worked very hard on my speech. The three things that I did very well were a good clear voice,practicing it in the mirror ten times a day and looking on the Internet about three times a week just to look up when Easter was discovered until I finally found the awnser it was 1777 and it is also located in the south pacific between Chile and Tahiti so thats a long way away.But I learnt that Easter island got its name form the discovery in 1777.I could improve on writing a little bit more and more eye contact and research my information properly here is a video about my speech hope you enjoy.
